Nightcap is Great for Anytime of the Day or Night!

I just watched the show Nightcap starring a host of really talented people led by uber talented Ali Wentworth. I seriously think Ali's one of those under-appreciated talents because she's so natural and quick that she makes what she does look deceptively easy. In fact, to be that quick, that "on" and that present, whether it's a The Tonight Show, Law & Order, or It's Complicated, is the result of preparation, talent, and a fearless knowledge of yourself. She brings all of that to Nightcap and those wonderful characteristics bleed over to the other cast members and, I'm sure, the crew because they've created a fun, sharp, quick, comedy that pulls you into its hilarity.

The show takes us behind the scenes of a nighttime talk show. We never see the actual show or its host, Jimmy. Instead, we get to be a part of the lives and the worlds of the unsung people who put the show together. We witness their strengths, idiosyncrasies, and hearts.

After watching 1 episode, I found myself wanting to watch another, just like a really engaging book where I get to the end of a juicy chapter and HAVE to get right into the next one. So during these times of serious and troubling news abroad and at home, treat yourself to a "Nightcap" of laughs with this gang of talented folks.

P.S. Yes, I'm pretending that Ali Wentworth and I are on a first name basis because she just seems so awesome and I'd love to be able to call her a friend. :)
