I just had a good time watching Literally, Right Before Aaron written and directed by Ryan Eggold (NBC's The Blacklist fame). You can stream it on YouTube, Amazon Video, iTunes, etc. It's a fun way to experience some familiar, talented faces take you through the story of navigating the waters of attempted friendship after a breakup.

Justin Long is really at his best playing Adam, who's still suffering with grief over the breakup with his girlfriend, Alison played by the terrific Cobie Smulders. Both actors show specificity as you're drawn into their respective experiences and perspectives as a broken-up couple with Allison's wedding as a backdrop. That's right, Allison (Cobie Smulders) invites Adam (Justin Long) to attend her wedding - and he says yes! We go on the awkward, emotionally difficult ride with each of them. You know this ride - where one person is still pining and in love with the other who has already moved on. Ryan Hansen, is dynamic as Allison's fiancee and plays the perfect foil to Long's Adam.

Ryan Eggold has written, directed and edited a really relatable and compelling story exploring the themes: "why didn't we work?" and "can we really be friends after we breakup?" HIs cast (which is filled with one surprise talent after another) tells the story with heart, humor and complicated emotions. So unwrap the gifts of talented: Justin Long, John Cho, Kristen Schaal, Dana Delany, Cobie Smulders, Ryan Hansen, Peter Gallagher, Lea Thompson, and Luis Guzman in Literally, Right Before Aaron.
